Nino Katamadze and group "Insight" (Georgia)
Members:
Nino Katamadze (vocal)
Gocha Kacheishvili (guitar)
Ucha Gugunava (bass-guitar)
David Abuladze (percussion instruments)
Relaxing mix of Georgian folklore and jazz improvisations performed by musicians of group "Insight" goes well with Nino's vocal.
Audience like Nino, spectators don't let her leave the stage. At the end of performance she always sings her favourite composition “Once in the Street”. Nino performs it sitting on the edge of stage. It seems irrelevant to applaud and shout because when Nino opens her eyes, they are full of tears.
Nino Katamadze and group "Insight" have taken part in live BBC program. Usually they go on tour across the Europe performing at different festivals (in London , Edinburgh , the Vienna ), winning premiums and admiration of the fascinated public. Their music reminds of soul, blues, Georgian folklore, sea, sun and wine. The musicians of “Insight” are three charismatic hook-nosed mountaineers: Gocha, Ucha and David.
The collective wrote several soundtracks to films (“Vashli” (the Apple) by Irina Kreselidze and “The road to the Savior”).
It is easy to fall in love with the Georgian jazz diva but difficult to leave her. The most sincere fans tell that after Nino's performance they would like to follow after her fantastic voice...
